Hidden word clues

The answer is sitting in plain sight, spelt out in consecutive letters across one or more words in the clue. A small word tells you it's hidden inside.

How to spot one

• Look for words like 'in', 'some', 'part of', 'holds' or 'hiding'.
• Run your finger along the clue ignoring the spaces between words.
• The answer usually spans the gap between two words.
• A reversed hidden word is read backwards, usually flagged with 'back' or 'up'.
